Teacher In-Focus

Rahul Bhaiya is a Teach For India (TFI) Fellow teaching at PCMC English Medium School in Bhosari. We are going to discuss different achievements of Rahul Bhaiya.

During his bachelor degree, he was a student of political science in Hindu college at Delhi University. As the president of student union ,he and his team decreased hostel fees for students . He did his masters from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where he researched on Right To Education Act, 2009 and child labor in tea plantation.

He joined an organization called Pradan in Bokaro district in Jharkhand after his masters. One of his achievement was working in rural area of Jharkhand, and even working with women collectives and working on fields like governance and income generation, too. Through this he realized that education is essential for most of the children in our country and therefore he joined TFI.

He is still interested in political science and is a very patient man, and wants to try new things, too. Even now, he pays attention to social matters, and is passionate about following his dreams.
