Archana didi is the mother of Yogesh who is a student of Astitva Learning Centre. She is 39 years old. Her life is full of adventure with some problems which she overcame by herself. She has business of taking orders of different types food items from the customers. When the orders are placed she prepares and sell. Specially in summer holidays and in festivals of Ganesh Chaturthi more and more orders are placed. Here are the experiences which

she shared with us.

The problem that she faced was lack of money. She did not have enough money to educate

her child. So then she decided to ask help from her parents and relatives but they refused to do so. The another problem that she faced was people tried to de-motivate her by complaining about the food. Thus, she took the step of helping herself and becoming strong, and independent. She then started the work of making and selling food.

The most major issue with her business was that she could not actually handle all the work alone and did not had support. Also, she even faced the problem of people saying that the rate of all food items is expensive. When she heard this problem she felt upset.

To solve her problem she tried to talk and communicate with people around her. She gave them food items to taste and explained them why the rate of the food she prepared is expensive. She told what ingredients did the food items contained and how much they cost. People started placing orders and by this her food was appreciated in many localities. Like this she overcame her problem.

She chose this career so that she can educate her child and can feed her family. So, now she

takes care of her child as well as of her business. Now she prepares food like, Chaklali, Kranji,

Laddu, Anarsa and many other.
